Webinar Reminder: India’s Rising Role in the U.S. Toy Supply Chain
November 15, 2024 | Toy industry professionals are reminded to sign up for “Opportunities in India-U.S. Toy Trade,” an upcoming Toy Association webinar taking place Thursday, November 21 at 2 p.m. (Eastern).
The session will explore the growing opportunities in India for the U.S. toy market, covering key economic trends driving India’s increasing toy exports to the U.S., featuring presentations from leading Indian toy manufacturers that showcase their manufacturing capabilities and ethical work standards. It will conclude with a Q&A session to address trade opportunities, supply chain logistics, and company-specific inquiries.
Registration is now open. The webinar will be moderated by Owen Caine, vice president of government affairs at The Toy Association, and presented by:
- Samir Kapadia, CEO of India Index, a supply chain marketplace that helps U.S. companies import from India;
- Kevam Shah, export & corporate sales manager at Aditi Toys, an India-based manufacturer and exporter of children’s educational playsets, puzzles, and games;
- Hem Soparkar, founder of Electrobotic Manufacturing Private Limited, a manufacturer that specializes in electronic toys and works with top international brands like Hamleys;
- and Swapna Wagh, founder and director at Desi Toys, a company that specializes in traditional Indian toys and games.
The session is open to Toy Association members at no cost; non-members may join for a $99 registration fee. All toy industry professionals are invited to participate, but it is specifically recommended for executives, buyers, supply chain managers, and those involved in market strategy, manufacturing, and international trade.
