‘Toy Fair University’ Presentation Applications Advance to Review Stage

February 6, 2023 | The return of a reimagined Toy Fair also brings back the industry’s top educational programming, and this year, the event will host its most comprehensive lineup yet during “Toy Fair University.” The program will bring together the strongest thought leadership in the global toy and play industry and will take place throughout all four days of the show September 30 to October 3 at the Javits Center in New York City.

For the first time, play professionals had the opportunity to apply to become a member of the Toy Fair University faculty. The submission period is now closed and nearly 100 expert speakers in their respective fields have applied to present. The Toy Fair team is currently reviewing applications and will announce session and speaker details in late spring. Session topics will cover the evolution of retail, business development, the supply chain, the profitability of the metaverse, toy and play trends, global market research, product safety, and topics specific to the needs of inventors and entrepreneurs.

“We received applications from a wide group of toy, play, academic, and toy-adjacent experts to transform their research, ideas, case studies, and best practices into enriching sessions for Toy Fair attendees,” said Kimberly Carcone, executive vice president of global market events at The Toy Association. “Toy Fair University’s robust programming will boost participants’ business savvy and help them navigate the industry post-pandemic. We’re eager to unveil the Toy Fair University lineup and schedule in the next few months!”

Toy Fair University will be open to all show attendees. Toy Fair will take place September 30 to October 3 in New York City. Attendee registration will open this spring. Visit ToyFairNY.com for more information.
