Aid Children in Underserved Communities with Your Toy Donations

toy-foundation-logoAugust 17, 2020 | The COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact more Americans, and some communities are being disproportionately affected. As the industry comes together this week for the second Toy Fair Everywhere digital market week, The Toy Foundation is asking members of the toy and play communities to lend a hand by donating toys and games to The Toy Bank for distribution to children in these vulnerable communities.

“Whether it’s a child coping with illness, navigating the foster care system, suffering from abuse, separated from a deployed military parent, or watching a loved one suffer from COVID-19, the pandemic has compounded the challenges many children in vulnerable situations are currently facing,” said Elizabeth Max, senior foundation manager at The Toy Foundation. “Any bit of joy and comfort we can provide through your donations will go a long way in supporting their well-being. We appreciate the efforts of all our donors."

Companies with excess inventory to donate are encouraged to fill out and submit The Toy Bank product donation form. Free pick-up is available. Questions may be directed to The Toy Foundation’s Elizabeth Max.
