Canadian Toy Association Names 2024 Hall of Fame Inductees

canadian toy association 2024 hall of fame logoSeptember 12, 2024 | The Canadian Toy Association (CTA) will induct Steve Morris, former general manager of Jakks Pacific, and Melanie Teed-Murch, former president of Toys “R” Us Canada and Babies “R” Us Canada, into the CTA Hall of Fame on November 14, 2024. The organization will also present Steven Keith from Spin Master and Myuran Sivapalan of Zuru Canada with 2024 Rising Star Awards.

The Hall of Fame inductees were nominated and voted on by members of the CTA in honor and recognition of their remarkable impact on the industry. They will join a roster of more than 50 industry leaders who have been inducted into the Hall since it was established in 1995.

The toy community is invited to register to attend the CTA Hall of Fame Event, taking place November 14 at the Mississauga Convention Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. The evening will include a reception and a dinner, followed by ceremonies to induct Morris and Teed-Murch into the Hall.
