Toy Association & Amazon Partner to Share Toy Safety Guidance with Families

The Toy Association™ has partnered with Amazon to bring expert-backed toy safety guidance directly to consumers. The initiative features educational articles to help families make informed decisions so children safely play at home.

The first two articles in the series, focused on projectile toys and ride-ons, offer easy-to-follow safety tips from PlaySafe.org, the premier resource for toy and play safety information for families, caregivers, and gift-givers.

“Safety is at the core of everything we do as an industry — and the No. 1 priority for The Toy Association and its 800+ members,” said Adrienne Appell, executive vice president of marketing communications at The Toy Association. “By partnering with Amazon, we’re able to meet families where they are and provide clear, practical tips that help support safe play experiences for kids.”

“Families trust Amazon to help them find the right toys for their kids, and that's a responsibility we take seriously,” said Rebbecca Mond, head of external relations, customer trust and abuse prevention at Amazon. “Every day, our teams work to help ensure products meet rigorous safety and compliance standards before they ever reach a child's hands. We're proud to collaborate with the Toy Association to deliver expert, actionable guidance and usage information so that families have peace of mind that the toys they purchase are safe.”

For toy and play safety tips all year long, families are encouraged to visit PlaySafe.org.
