Toy Association's Robert Heins Promoted to SVP, Finance & Administration

robert-heinsJanuary 1, 2024 — The Toy Association™, the trade association representing all businesses involved in creating and delivering toys and youth entertainment products for kids of all ages, announced today that Robert (Bobby) Heins has been promoted to senior vice president of finance & administration, effective January 1, 2024.

As part of The Toy Association’s executive management team, Heins is responsible for the management and supervision of the finances, human resources, information technology (IT), facilities, and legal matters for the Association and The Toy Foundation™.

Heins joined the Association’s finance & accounting department in 2015 as its director. He most recently served as vice president of finance & accounting, where he oversaw the accounting function of the Association and the Foundation.

Throughout his tenure, Heins has ensured both organizations adhere to the highest financial practices and standards. He has also played an integral role in moving the organizations’ finance function forward to a modernized digital operation that’s improved financial planning, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. His deep understanding of each department and its function, along with his earned trust and respect among the Association’s diverse staff, further positions him for success in his new role.

Before joining The Toy Association, Heins worked as a certified public accountant for which the Association and Foundation were clients. He has a dual BS in finance & accounting from Boston College and is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to his professional pursuits, Heins is an avid toy fan and father to three young children.
