Toy Fair® 2025: New Event Features & Important Reminders
February 10, 2025 | The global toy industry is gearing up for Toy Fair®, set to take over the Javits Center in New York City in just a few weeks. From new event features and important reminders to must-know logistics, here’s what you need to know before you go — whether you're a seasoned Toy Fair veteran or attending for the first time.

Before You Arrive
- Badge Pickup: All show participants, including press, exhibitors, and attendees can pick up their show credentials at the North Concourse Registration Area starting Thursday, February 27 at noon. There will be no on-site registration.
- Toy Fair App: Download the Toy Fair mobile app to navigate the show with ease. Use the app to schedule appointments, keep tabs on special off-site events, and view Toy Fair University educational sessions.
- Join the Buzz: Share your Toy Fair excitement, photos with industry friends, and showcase your favorite finds using #ToyFairLife on social media.
New/Updated Areas on the Show Floor
- The Press Center is now located on Level 3 of the show floor (Booth 3145), in the new Hall 3 area.
- Toy Fair will present content on two stages this year. All Toy Fair University programming is now located on Level 3 of the show floor (Booth 3065), in close proximity to the Press Center. The General Session Theater is located in the D Hall on Level 1. Click here to view all educational sessions taking place at the show.
- The Toy Association’s Toy PLAYce Lounge, located on Level 3 of the show floor (Booth 3405), is a central gathering place to meet with fellow attendees, Toy Association, Toy Foundation and People of Play team members, and welcomes all Toy Fair attendees. This lounge will feature seating and light refreshments for attendees.
- Toy Fair will debut the Genius of Play Café, on Level 3 (Booth 2679), which will feature seating and on-floor concessions available to purchase.
- The new Student Showcase Gallery area, featuring the work of toy design students from the Fashion Institute of Technology and Otis College of Art and Design, will be located on Level 1 (Booth 5879). Concessions will be available to purchase.
Event Highlights
- Don’t miss the costume character parade and ribbon cutting to officially kick off Toy Fair 2025, taking place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 1 at the Level 3 Exhibit Hall entrance.
- The Toy Association’s Annual Toy Trends Briefing will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 1 in the General Session Theater, where attendees will get an exclusive first look at the top toy and play trends of 2025.
- Taking place at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 1 in the General Session Theater, The Toy Association’s Annual General Meeting will include updates from the organization, the election of new Board members, and more. The meeting is open to all Toy Association members.
- Toy Fair exhibitors will have the opportunity to connect with hundreds of university students participating in the Student Congress program, taking place Sunday, March 2 in the General Session Theater.
- The Toy Association’s Annual Safety Update will take place Monday, March 3 in the General Session Theater. This session will include an update on pending state and federal legislation, regulation, and standards impacting the toy industry and an overview of the Association's efforts to advocate for its members.
- Taking place Tuesday, March 4 in the General Session Theater, Creative Factor Inventor Day will welcome a select number of inventors will pitch their ideas to influential toy and youth entertainment professionals and potential manufacturing partners.
- From networking mixers to cocktail receptions, there are several after-hours events that attendees will want to mark on their calendars ahead of the show. All events can be added to attendees’ calendars using the Toy Fair mobile app. Remember that some events require separate registration.
