Toy Fair® 2023 Captures the Attention of Global Press

toy-fair-show-openOctober 12, 2023 | Toy Fair® attracted more than 800 registered media — including print and broadcast journalists; radio and podcast hosts; and an array of top-tier kid and family content creators — who attended the North American toy event to highlight the most buzzworthy toys and games ahead of the upcoming holiday season and get a sneak peak at what’s ahead for 2024.

“Beyond being the premier platform for forging and fostering vital business connections, Toy Fair helped exhibitors capture media attention at the kickoff to the holiday shopping season,” said Adrienne Appell, executive vice president of marketing communications, The Toy Association. “Stories will continue to be published and aired well beyond the show dates, giving a ton of promotion for products during Q4 and beyond.”

The show’s expansive media reach included more than 3,000 individual placements across print, online, radio, and broadcast TV outlets, leading up to and during Toy Fair. Adding in the wide reach of syndication, more than 2.8 billion impressions have accumulated to date.

The official 2023 “Toy Fair Media List” has been made available to exhibitors for post-show outreach. Those seeking a copy of the media list can reach out to The Toy Association’s Maddie Michalik.

Media outlets represented at Toy Fair included ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox News, Good Morning America, The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, CNET, Good Housekeeping, The Associated Press, Netflix, Fast Company, Popular Science, Parents, Yahoo Entertainment, Buzzfeed, Forbes, Scripps News Network, and many more.
